| A very timely talk on the relationship between Christianity and Islam, focusing on St. Francis' of Assisi's trip to visit the Sultan in Egypt. Paul Moses will speak on the relation between Christianity and Islam as presented in his recent book, The Saint and the Sultan: the Crusades, Islam and Francis of Assisi’s Mission of Peace. Paul Moses is a professor of journalism at Brooklyn College and the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism. He is a former senior religion writer, City Hall bureau chief and city editor at Newsday, where he was the lead writer in news coverage that won a Pulitzer Prize. |
